Al Gore
Founding Partner and Chairman
Generation Investment Management

Former Vice President Al Gore is the founder and chairman of The Climate Reality Project, a nonprofit devoted to solving the climate crisis, a founding partner and chairman of Generation Investment Management, and a co-founder of Climate TRACE. He is also a partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a member of the World Economic Forum’s board of trustees, and a past member of the board of directors at Apple. 

Gore was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1976, 1978, 1980, and 1982 and to the U.S. Senate in 1984 and 1990. He was inaugurated as the 45th vice president of the United States on January 20, 1993, and served eight years. 

He is the author of the #1 New York Times best-sellers An Inconvenient Truth and The Assault on Reason and the NYT best-sellers Earth in the Balance, Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis, The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change, and most recently, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power

He is the subject of the documentary movie “An Inconvenient Truth,” which won two Oscars in 2006 — and a second documentary in 2017, “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.” In 2007, Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, along with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, for “informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change.” Gore is a native Tennessean who currently resides on his farm in Carthage, Tennessee.

Saul Griffith
Inventor, Author, Founder and Scientist

Saul is an engineer and entrepreneur specialising in clean and renewable energy technologies. Saul has founded a dozen technology companies across 20 years in Silicon Valley. Saul is the author of 3 books including "Electrify", and "The Big Switch".

Saul has recently turned his attention from Otherlab, his independent Research and Development lab, to policy work and writing, including founding Rewiring America, Rewiring Australia and Rewiring Aotearoa, non-partisan organisations dedicated to electrification and decarbonisation. He also serves as an Honorary Professor of Practice at the University of Wollongong’s School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering.


Michael Barbara
Director, Australasia
Campbell Global, a J.P. Morgan company

Michael is responsible for investment activities in Australia and New Zealand, including deal origination, due diligence, execution, and divestments. He also oversees client assets under management in the region and contributes towards the overall strategy of Campbell Global. 

Prior to joining Campbell Global in 2024, Michael spent almost 20 years at New Forests where he held numerous roles including Chief Commercial Officer, Director of Business Development, and lead roles in deal origination and execution. Michael has spent his career in the forestry and nature-based assets investment management industry working on funds and investment strategies in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, and Africa focused on delivering investment returns from the sustainable management of timber, land, carbon, and nature based assets. 

Michael holds an M.B.A. from the Macquarie Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from Macquarie University.

Michael Bartlett
Acting Branch Head
DCCEEW

Michael is the acting Branch Head, COP31 Clean Energy Economy Branch in the International Climate and Energy Division of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. The Clean Energy Economy Branch provides strategic leadership in shaping Australia's contribution to the global clean energy transition and industrial decarbonisation. The branch works to drive innovation, leverage financial flows, and foster trade partnerships to deliver Australia's COP31 priorities and net zero commitments. Michael’s career has spanned climate, energy, finance and economic policy at DCCEEW and Treasury, including contributing to developing the Government’s Future Made in Australia agenda.

Margot Black
General Manager, Corporate Sustainability
Investa

Margot Black is the General Manager, Corporate Sustainability at Investa, leading the company’s strategic sustainability agenda across its commercial and Living businesses. With over 30 years’ in the property industry, Margot began her career as an urban and regional planner before transitioning into sustainability leadership roles at major firms including Stockland, Lendlease, and Charter Hall. 

Her work bridges environmental responsibility with social impact, aligning sustainability with long-term investment value.

Stuart Blackadder

Stuart has more than 20 years’ experience in infrastructure and private equity funds management.

Stuart is a Director, Alternative Investments at Export Finance Australia where his primary responsibility is originating and executing equity and equity-like investment opportunities via the Commonwealth's National Interest Account. 

Prior to joining EFA Stuart held senior roles with the Northern Australia Infrastructre Facility (NAIF), Prostar Capital, a global infrastructure fund manager, and STAR Capital Partners, a UK-based private equity fund manager.

Jeff Brunton

Jeff’s role is Head of Portfolio Management at HESTA and he has overall responsibility for investment management within our Growth, Defensive and Unlisted Assets sectors. This encompasses all of our investment manager partner relationships as well as the internalisation program of investment decision making across these sectors. 

Prior to joining HESTA, Jeff held Deputy CIO and CIO roles at Resolution Life, AMP Life and senior investment roles at AMP Capital and QIC. 

Jeff holds an MBA from Northwestern University and HKUST, along with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons)and a Bachelor of Laws from University of Queensland. Jeff is a CFA Charterholder and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Director.

Peter Castellas

Throughout Peter’s career he has worked at the leading edge of the climate change and sustainable development agenda. He has advised and influenced key decision makers at the highest levels of business, finance and government. Peter is CEO of Climate Zeitgeist, a company he founded to work with key global partners in finance and investment to accelerate meaningful action on change. He is the Founder of the Climate Investor Forum, the premier event in APAC to connect investors, corporates and climate solutions companies. Peter was previously CEO of Tasman Environmental Markets where he led the company to become a one of the largest voluntary integrated carbon offset providers in the Asia Pacific. Previous roles include CEO of the Carbon Market Institute, Director at Deloitte in Corporate Finance and Sustainability, Managing Director of Cleantech Australasia and the first Sustainability Advisor for the Commonwealth Bank. Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Environmental Studies and the first year 10 class he taught over 30 years ago was on the Greenhouse Effect.

Alexis Cheang

NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp)

Alexis Cheang joined TCorp as the Head of Investment Stewardship in June 2022. In her role, Alexis leads the organisation’s commitment to integrate climate change, ESG and active ownership across all asset classes, using a total portfolio approach to investing. 

Prior to joining TCorp, Alexis spent 8 years at Mercer as Partner and Head of Sustainable Investment for Asia Pacific. In that role, she advised asset owners in designing and implementing sustainable investment and climate change strategies. 

Alexis chairs the NSW Sustainable Investment Working Group and, in a personal capacity, is an advisory Board member of HOPE Housing, an affordable housing impact fund supporting home ownership for essential workers. 

Alexis holds a Master of Science in Politics of the World Economy (with Merit) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion with honours, from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Jeffrey Chee
Global Head of Portfolio Strategy

Jeff Chee is Global Head of Portfolio Strategy at WTW, with responsibility for the continued evolution of WTW’s top-down portfolio construction process, the integration of the key dimensions of portfolio quality into the portfolios that we develop for our clients. He also ensures that a consistent process is applied across our global client base. Jeff has 24 years of industry experience and has previously led the Australia and Asia Pacific investment strategy team, and has extensive experience in developing and providing strategic and dynamic asset allocation advice to the full spectrum of WTW’s asset owner clients including pension schemes, insurance funds, endowments/foundations and sovereign/government entities.

Jeff is a member of WTW’s Investment Assumptions Committee, which has oversight of the capital market assumption setting process and has also been heavily involved in the development and maintenance of WTW Australia’s quantitative modelling tools including stochastic asset modelling software and portfolio construction tools. Jeff has also been particularly instrumental in developing a number of climate scenarios and associated asset return impacts, as well as WTW’s framework for integrating climate and other sustainability-related issues into portfolio construction. 

Jeff is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, winner of the Prescott Prize for the best overall performance in completing the Institute of Actuaries of Australia Education program. He is also a winner of the William Noall and Son Prize for the top honours graduate in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the University of Melbourne where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce.

Bronwyn Claire
APAC Lead, Climate Scenarios and Sustainability
Ortec Finance

Within the Climate Scenarios & Sustainability team, Bronwyn is responsible for continuous research and innovation in climate scenario analysis technology with a focus on overseeing communication about the policy, macroeconomic, and financial implications of climate change under the ClimateMAPS - climate scenario analysis solution. She leads the ongoing updates of Ortec Finance’s NGFS-based climate economic and financial datasets. Bronwyn also leads Ortec Finance’s involvement in a Public-Private Partnership project by Wageningen Economic Research and the Foundation for Sustainable Development on biodiversity risks and opportunities for finance. 

Before joining Ortec Finance, Bronwyn led ClimateWise at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, a platform uniting over 40 insurance firms to manage and disclose climate risk. 

Bronwyn holds a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture), Bachelor of Commerce and a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Western Australia and is an ongoing Fellow at CISL.

John Connor
Head of Policy and Communications
Net Zero Economy Authority

John Connor joined the Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA) as its Head of Policy and Communications in July this year. John’s work is integral to NZEA’s mission to support the workers and communities most affected by the transition to net zero. 

Prior to his role at NZEA, John was CEO for the Carbon Market Institute (CMI), an independent member-based institute for business leading the transition to net-zero emissions. The CMI is made up of around 150 member companies spanning the carbon value chain from primary producers, carbon service providers and emission intensive companies. 

John also had two years based in Suva directing the Secretariat supporting the Fijian Government's Presidency on international climate negotiations (COP23 Presidency). He had first-hand experience with Pacific leadership and innovation in the face of the growing climate crisis. 

Prior to that, John led The Climate Institute which pioneered approaches which put a focus on financial institutions and their impact on the climate.

Kate Cotter
CEO, Founder
Resilient Building Council

Kate Cotter is the founder and CEO of the RBC. She established RBC in 2014 after witnessing the devastating impact of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires in Victoria, determined to break the cycle of preventable disaster losses. 

Kate brought together scientists, engineers, insurers, banks, investors, governments and communities to develop the Multi-Hazard Resilience Ratings System — the first in the world to integrate building performance across multiple hazards with insurance and finance pricing. In the past 18 months alone, more than 50,000 households have completed Resilience Rating assessments, investing over $200 million to make homes and businesses safer, insurable and investible. 

Kate is now leading RBC’s expansion of the Ratings system with international partners to help unlock billions in adaptation investment and value worldwide.

Guy Debelle
Chair

Dr Guy Debelle is chair of FundsSA and a board member of Tivan, e61 and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. He is also an adviser to the Investment Committee of Australian Retirement Trust, chair of the advisory board at Famille Capital and honorary professor of economics at Adelaide University. 

Guy was the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia for six years having worked at the RBA for 25 years. After leaving the RBA, Guy worked at Fortescue Future Industries as CFO. He has a PhD from MIT and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Adelaide.

Kate Donnelly
Impact And Unlisted Investment Manager

Kate is the Impact and Unlisted Investment Manager at Future Group. Kate has previously worked with institutional investors, policymakers and frontline communities across Australia and the South Pacific to advocate for ambitious emission reduction and just transition policies, drive corporate climate accountability, and support effective, community-led resilience programs. Kate holds a Master of Climate Change from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.

Clay Dumas

His unique combination of policy experience from his time as an aide in the West Wing and deep sector knowledge makes him a sought-after advisor for both entrepreneurs and government leaders navigating the complex landscape of next-generation energy technologies. Clay lives in Venice, CA with his wife Sarah and their four children.

Anna Engwerda-Smith

Anna leads the global public policy function at IFM Investors, a global asset manager owned by Australian industry super funds and UK pension fund Nest. She leads on public policy analysis and engagement with government and civil society stakeholders in Australia, and works with colleagues across IFM’s global offices to position IFM and pension capital as the natural partners of government in infrastructure and other investment opportunities globally. Previously, Anna worked as a senior policy adviser in the Australian Prime Minister’s department, the Australian Embassy in Washington DC and the House of Representatives. She has masters degrees in public policy from the Australian National University and Princeton University.

Alison Ewings

Alison Ewings is a respected ESG leader in Australia with more than 20 years’ sustainability experience who is passionate about focusing investor efforts on meaningful change. Before joining QIC in 2023, Alison served as Head of Engagement at Regnan, where she oversaw the early implementation of system level engagement. Prior to this, Alison was the Head of Sustainability at Westpac overseeing the development of ESG strategy, frameworks, policy and disclosure. 

Alison is currently a member of the Global Steering Committee for Climate Action 100+, the world’s largest investor-led engagement initiative on climate change.

Nathan Fabian is Chief Sustainable Systems Officer at the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment. The PRI supports over 5000 institutional investors globally to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance factors into their investment activities. He has been with the PRI for ten years.

Tanya Fiedler
Scientia Fellow
UNSW Sydney

Dr Tanya Fiedler is a Scientia Fellow in Climate Accounting, with joint appointments at the UNSW Institute for Climate Risk & Response and the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, UNSW.

Tanya is as a pioneering expert in the field of climate risk accounting and accountability. Her research is interdisciplinary and considers how information from the sciences can be credibly translated to information that is decision-useful for business. 

Tanya engages deeply with industry, standard setters, and regulators, both through her research as well as in an advisory capacity. Her work has been cited in the 2023 Economic Report of the President of the United States, as well as by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Dr Joëlle Gergis
Award-winning climate scientist and writer
University of Melbourne

Dr Joëlle Gergis is an award-winning climate scientist and writer. She is an internationally recognised expert in Australian and Southern Hemisphere climate variability and change who has authored over 130 scientific publications. Joëlle served as a lead author on the latest United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on the Climate Change (IPCC) report – the global authority on climate change science.

Joëlle is also the author of three highly-acclaimed books: Sunburnt Country: The History and Future of Climate Change in Australia; Humanity’s Moment: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope, and Highway to Hell: Climate Change and Australia’s Future. She is a regular contributor to The Saturday Paper, and has written for landmark climate anthologies including The Climate Book by Greta Thunberg, and Not Too Late: Changing the Climate Story from Despair to Possibility edited by Rebecca Solnit. 

Joëlle is currently a scientific advisor to a range of government, business, cultural and community groups.

Ava Hancock
National Electricity Market Review Panel

Ava Hancock brings expertise in electricity market policy through the leadership role she played in the detailed design of the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap. Ms Hancock also has deep capability in stakeholder engagement and navigating political challenges, which will be important to secure success in delivery of the proposed recommended reforms.

Charlotte Hanson
Policy Consultant
Environmental Defense Fund

Charlotte is a policy specialist working with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) to curb energy sector methane emissions in Australia through engagement with industry, investors and governments. Her work focuses on strengthening methane reporting and ensuring best practice abatement technologies and work practices are used across fossil fuel facilities.

Bernie Hobbs
MC

Bernie Hobbs is best known as a popular judge from ABC TV's The New Inventors, and she's a firm favourite with audiences for her weekly science spots on ABC radio around the country.

Bernie has that rare combination of a sharp intellect, quick wit and warmth. With a background in medical research, environmental writing and science teaching, Bernie can tackle tough or technical subjects and bring the driest topics alive for lay or expert audiences.

She's worked with kids, animals and rocket scientists, and shared the stage with prime ministers and rock stars. She happily takes the hot seat at triple j when Dr Karl can't, and loves nothing more than working with a live audience. 

Bernie has won awards for the kids tv show the experiMENTALS, and for her infamous greenhouse website Planet Slayer - where you find out what age you should have died at so you don't use more than your share of the planet. 

She has a first class honours degree in biochemistry and microbiology, a very nerdy habit of birdwatching, and more than a passing interest in cycling, kayaking and ridding her backyard of asthma weed.

Tanya Hodgson

Tanya Hodgson is an Associate Director at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), driving the identification, development and execution of investment opportunities that advance innovation in renewable energy technologies. Tanya specialises in ARENAs' low emissions metals portfolio, which has a specific focus on supporting green iron and steel, from early stage trials to demonstration and deployment. Tanya has a technical background, with degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She brings strategic and commercial expertise from her prior role at Bain & Company.

Paul Hunyor

Paul Hunyor co-founded Wollemi Capital in 2021, co-heads the firm alongside Tim Bishop and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Board. Wollemi Capital is a global climate specialist investment firm, deploying flexible capital across companies and projects that advance decarbonisation. 

Paul has over 20 years of experience as an investor and operator in private equity and venture capital. 

As the former Head of Asia for BCG Green Ventures, a corporate VC arm of the Boston Consulting Group, Paul has been at the forefront of corporate venture investing in climate solutions. He helped launch Singapore’s voluntary carbon credits marketplace (Climate Impact X), led a carbon measurement platform for scope 3 emissions (Terrascope), and co-founded the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) first ever venture in food traceability (OpenSC). 

Paul is the former Co-Chair of the WEF Committee on Sustainable Consumption. Currently, he serves on the Board of Governors at the WWF Australia and the Investment Committee for Innovation and Science Australia’s Entrepreneur’s Programme. 

Paul has a dual master’s (MBA and MPA) from Harvard.

Alida Jansen van Vuuren

Alida has over 15 years’ experience within energy networks in Australia and the UK and enjoys engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and embedding change into complex organisations. She is leading the transformation of Ausgrid as it steps into its role as distribution system operator. She has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of South Australia and a Master of Science in Public Policy from University College London.

Peter Jenkins
Manager Climate Change
Transurban

Peter manages climate-related risk and reporting activities at Transurban, including development of asset-specific climate risk and adaptation plans and climate transition planning. 

With a background in urban planning, Peter has over 15 years of experience leading climate-related initiatives within the transportation and local government sectors, including coordinating the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s Superstorm Sandy recovery and resilience activities, supporting city governments to develop and implement comprehensive urban resilience strategies through the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative, and launching a global agreement on zero emission trucks and buses at COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sumit Kanodia

Ninety One

Sumit is a director in Ninety One’s Emerging Market Alternative Credit team. He has extensive infrastructure finance experience covering both project and corporate finance in emerging markets. Sumit has worked on the Emerging Africa and Asia Infrastructure Fund (EAAIF) since 2011 and is part of the team that is leading the Fund’s expansion into Asia. Sumit is also responsible for the fund-raising activities of EAAIF, including the recent close of Export Finance Australia. 

Prior to this role, Sumit worked at Pitcher Partners Consulting in Australia with a focus on financial modelling and financial due diligence across a variety of sectors. Sumit is a CFA ® charterholder and holds a BCom/BEc from the University of Monash in Australia, with majors in finance, econometrics and accounting.

Joanna Kay
Program Director, International Strategy, Partnerships and Engagement
The Superpower Institute

Joanna Kay is Program Director for International Partnerships and Engagement at The Superpower Institute, an independent Australian think tank at the intersection of climate, industry, and international policy. She leads global partnerships across the Indo-Pacific, Europe, and beyond to accelerate clean energy, sustainable trade, and industrial collaboration. 

Named one of The Australian’s 2024 “100 Green Power Players”, Joanna has shaped major policy and investment initiatives, including Australia’s $22.7 billion Future Made in Australia package. She previously led the Smart Energy Council’s hydrogen and resources program and represented the Australian Government at the International Solar Alliance in Delhi. 

Her career spans government, diplomacy, and industry across Australia, India, and China, with a strong record in gender equity and emerging leadership. A 2025 IABCA Business Leader of the Year finalist and Paris Collaborative Global Fellow mentor, she works with young leaders from the Global South tackling urgent climate and development challenges.

The Hon. Matt Kean
Chair
Climate Change Authority

Matt was appointed as Chair of the authority on 5 August 2024 for a term of 5 years. He was previously the Member for Hornsby in the NSW Parliament from 2011 until 2 August 2024. Matt was most recently the NSW Shadow Minister for Health. He was Deputy Leader of the NSW Liberal party from August 2022 until March 2023. Throughout his 13-year political career, Matt also held ministries of Innovation and Better Regulation, Treasury, Energy and Environment.

As Treasurer and Energy Minister of NSW, Matt championed climate action that is in the best interests of households and businesses. In 2020, he delivered the Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap: A 20-year plan for NSW’s energy infrastructure. The roadmap spurs private investment in renewable energy while reducing emissions and power bills for the people of NSW. Matt commenced in the role of Director, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Partnerships at Wollemi Capital on 15 August 2024. Matt studied a Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant by profession.

Katerina Kimmorley

Ms Katerina Kimmorley is currently Head of Commercial and Investments at Boundless Earth. Previous roles include being a member of the NSW Government Net Zero Emissions and Clean Economy Board, holding positions at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation's Venture Capital Innovation Fund and serving as the co-founder of Pollinate Energy.

Ms Kimmorley has been recognised by the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, as the London School of Economics Entrepreneur of the Year and received the Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize.

Dr Ma Jun

Dr. Ma Jun is the President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (lFS), and Chairman of the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI). He holds prominent leadership roles across global sustainable finance initiatives, including as the Chairman of the Green Finance Committee of China Society for Finance and Banking, Chairman of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association, Co-Chair of the International Platform on Sustainable Finance (IPSF) Taxonomy Working Group, and Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Green Investment Principles (GlP) for the Belt and Road. An internationally recognized advocate for sustainable finance, he previously served as the Chief Economist at the People’s Bank of China, Director of the Center for Green Finance Development at Tsinghua University, and Co-Chair of G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group - alongside being a member of Steering Committee of the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), and the Monetary Policy Committee of the People's Bank of China.

Rebecca started her career in investment banking working in equity research, credit analysis, commodities and derivatives for groups such as Nomura Securities, BlackRock, Exxon Mobil and JPMorgan. Involvement in early corporate sustainability programs in many of her roles was the catalyst to move into the nascent sustainable finance and investment field in Asia where she led ASrIA (Assoc. for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia) in Hong Kong. 

She is a Board member of Wildlife Conservation International – the umbrella organisation of The Orangutan Project, International Elephant Project and the International Tiger Project, focused on animal and environmental conservation in Indonesia. Nicholas Moore AO

Nicholas Moore is a former Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Group Limited. He retired in 2018 after 32 years at Macquarie, including 10 years as CEO. 

Nicholas has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW (UNSW). He was admitted as a solicitor and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 2017, Nicholas was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business from UNSW. 

He is Chair of The Centre for Independent Studies, The Smith Family, Willow Technology Corporation, the National Catholic Education Commission and Aldus Group, and is a member of the UNSW Business School Advisory Council.

From 2020-2024, Mr Nankervis served as Australia’s Ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta, including during the period when ASEAN and Australia entered a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. 

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr Nankervis held the position of Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Economic, Communications and Analytics Branch. His earlier roles include Assistant Secretary of the Indo-Pacific Strategy and Regional Maritime Branch, Head DFAT Iraq and Syria Taskforce, and Director in the team that developed Australia’s 2017 Foreign Policy White Paper.

Mr Nankervis served as Political Counsellor at Australia’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York during Australia’s term on the UN Security Council (2013-14). He has also undertaken postings and short-term missions in Sri Lanka and Solomon Islands.

For the last 6 years, she has lead the development of Rest’s Responsible Investment and Sustainability function, sitting on the Management Investment Committee. Leilani’s professional motivation is to drive and deliver great outcomes across teams through the management of ESG and climate-related factors to reduce risks and enhance investment performance for Rest members. She has worked in the U.K., the U.S., in regional and rural Australia, and across a range of sectors - government, corporate, and financial services. Leilani holds a degree in Environmental Science (Natural Resources) from the University of Queensland, holds the One Planet MBA from the University of Exeter (with Dean’s Commendation), and is GAICD.

Zoe Whitton
Managing Director, Head of Strategy & Impact
Pollination

Zoe Whitton is Managing Director, Head of Strategy and Impact at Pollination Group, a specialist climate change investment and advisory firm. Zoe helps companies and investors navigate the impacts of climate change and to build and invest in new businesses and products which take advantage of transition opportunities. She previously led the award-winning APAC ESG Research team at Citi, advising institutional investors globally on climate change and sustainable development. Earlier in her career Zoe covered ESG and climate change at Credit Suisse and at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and served as a youth delegate to the UNFCCC.

Zoe is the Chair of the Centre for Policy Development, serves on the board of the Investor Group on Climate Change, and is a member of both the Government’s National Hydrogen Strategy Advisory Council and the Expert Advisory Panel for the Federal Powering the Regions Fund.  

She was previously a member of the ASFI TAG and a member of the Expert Working Group for ASFI’s formation. Zoe also sits on the Advisory Council of the Climate Governance Initiative and the Gold Standard Enabling Impact Working Group. Zoe has won numerous awards for her research and work on climate finance and risk, and regularly contributes to the wider conversation on sustainable finance by commentating in the Australian and international press along with various publications.

Deidre Willmott

Fortescue

Deidre Willmott is Strategic Advisor Global Sustainability & External Relations at Fortescue. She works on Fortescue's target of Real Zero by 2030 in its Scope 1 & 2 emissions in its terrestrial mining operations as well as the company's plans for a green iron industry in the Pilbara. Previously Deidre was Director of External Relations at Fortescue, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of WA and chief of Staff to the WA Premier.

Hudson Worsley

As a co-founder of Presync, a sustainability consultancy and certified B Corp, Hudson works with organisations on their transition to the zero-carbon economy and adaptation to the changing climate. His ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear language to non-specialist supports the change management required to achieve sustainability objectives. Hudson is chair of the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA), an industry collaboration he helped establish with WWF and Climate-KIC to drive the national take-up of low emission construction materials.

Hudson holds a Bachelor of Arts (ANU), a Bachelor of Business (UTS) and a Master of Environmental Management (UNSW).

Suzy Yoon

Suzy is a Senior Consultant and the Sustainability Lead, Investment Trusts, responsible for driving the integration of sustainability best practices for the benefit of our clients. This includes assessing investment manager sustainability capabilities and incorporating sustainability considerations into JANA's investment strategy advice. 

Suzy was previously a consultant to various industry super funds and not-for-profit funds, and part of JANA’s Property and Global Equities Research Teams. 

Prior to (re)joining JANA, Suzy worked for the Australian Government in Korea, researching and analysing Korea's domestic agricultural policies and trade environment to support policy decisions and market access. She managed relationships with the Korean Government and public agencies, promoting bilateral cooperation. 

Suzy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Korean Studies from the University of New South Wales and a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs and Public Policy from Yonsei University in Korea.

Sarah Zeljko
Non-executive Director

As the immediate past Chair of Energy Queensland, Sarah Zeljko was at the helm of Australia’s biggest government-owned energy company with an enterprise value of $30B. She is currently on the Boards of Stockyard Beef, Unitywater and Intellidesign and in addition, sits on the not-for-profit Boards of Queensland Rugby Union and the International River Foundation. Sarah is also a Lawyer, Governance Consultant and Executive Coach.
